In your corporate vocation or in leading your business, strong health & well being foundations & practices are paramount to avoid descending down the “Stress Spiral” to Burnout.

Often we are so busy, we forget about our own health and well being as we aim to climb the corporate ladder and lead our businesses.  We attend to everyone else’s needs across work, our clients, our teams, our families often without acknowledging our own.

Many years ago I sat at my desk and knew that in the future there would be more work related stress issues, individual health crises and longer term illnesses impacting our well being at work, but also our long term health.  Indeed I have faced my own.  This is now more of a reality as a result of the many issues arising out of the Pandemic, increasing demands on each person, keeping up to date with new technology, new risks and economic conditions, to name a few.

While we think we are able to manage stress and strengthen our resilience, the Stress Spiral can gather momentum.  Before we know it we are moving through various external physical issues such as weight gain, digestive & skin issues and lack of energy, through to the internal issues of lack of focus and overwhelm. Our internal saboteurs are running our lives and we are sitting with various fears, anxiety, depression and moving through the various stages of burnout which impact our physical, mental, emotional & spiritual well being.

The physical impact of burnout takes time to recover from and its also impacts our relationships and families, our careers & businesses and our self esteem & self worth.  When we are performing many roles at work, at home and in the community, we need strategies to nurture and manage our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.

Dealing with stress, a long term auto immune disease and becoming burnt out, I have had to put in place various strategies to manage stress and my health with medical support and including various complimentary therapies, energy healing and the expanding area of sound healing frequencies.  It has not always been easy to manage my health & well being and we take our well being for granted. We all need support and to know someone genuinely cares about giving that support which I am to do for my clients.

Both throughout my corporate career and now as an executive coach & mentor, I have always researched and been curious about health & well being and the strategies and practices that can be employed to keep our body, mind, heart and spirit in healthy balance and harmony instead of working ourselves to unhealthy extremes.

I sincerely want those who are striving to support themselves, their families, their teams and their communities to ensure they are looking after themselves to enjoy their life and vocation while they are working, but also ensuring that as they enter their later years they are not burdened by stress related illnesses which have become more prevalent and can impact their health, well being & joy.
